About"Across the Mediterranean Series" Two great chefs, Miguel Zapata and Jarrod Verbiak, will be teaming up to bring you this very special event -- "Across the Mediterranean Series". Three menus representing three coasts lines: from the north coasts (Spain, Italy & France) to the east coasts (Greek & Balkans) and finally the south coasts (Egypt, Morocco & Arabia). TEL:010-65007579 ---- MIGAS CHEF ----Miguel Casal Zapata 米家思的主厨Migue来自西班牙安达卢西亚。他有着丰富的西班牙米其林星级餐厅工作经验,他所工作过的餐厅包括马贝拉的El Lago,巴塞罗那的Ramón Freixa以及安达卢西亚的Aponiente。并曾做为私人厨师为多哈卡达尔王室服务。 Miguel的童年在海边度过,所以做为厨师,他最喜欢用海鲜做为原料来烹饪菜品。当季新鲜的海鲜食材是他的最爱。 2016年6月,他来到北京,并成为米家思的主厨,Miguel出色努力的工作使米家思餐厅得到了多方好评。 Originally from Andalusia in southern Spain, having worked at Michelin-starred Spanish restaurants such as El Lago in Marbella, Ramón Freixa in Barcelona, and Aponiente in Andaluscia. He was also the private chef for the royal family of Qatar in Doha. Having grown up by the seaside, Chef Miguel loves working most with seafood, and is always excited to work with fresh seasonal produce. In June 2016, he landed in Beijing, and since then has been the engine that keeps the Migas kitchen running as smoothly as it does! ---- MIGAS CHEF ----Jarrod Verbiak 毕业于美国烹饪学院的Jarrod,来自美国俄亥俄州克利夫兰。在米其林大厨Daniel Boulud的厨房有过13年的烹饪历练经验。他协助大厨Daniel在拉斯维加斯,棕榈滩,北京及迈阿密打造了多个法餐厅,并于此期间在迈阿密获得了由James Bear赞助的“2021年度新星厨师”奖。 2014年,Jarrod回到北京,在彼时新开幕的瑰丽酒店打造Bistrot B餐厅。并协助开发了瑰丽集团在金边,曼谷和广州的多个餐厅项目。 2021年春天,他回归了餐饮业的本真,加入米家思团队,为其在北京和各地的项目创造更新,更多样化的美食内容和理念。 Chef Jarrod is a Cleveland, Ohio native and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He embarked on a thirteen-year culinary odyssey through Daniel Boulud’s kitchens in 2002. Opening multiple French dining concepts for Chef Daniel in Las Vegas, Palm Beach, Beijing and finally Miami where he received a national semi-finalist nomination “Rising Star Chef 2012” by the James Beard Foundation. In 2014, Jarrod returned to Beijing to develop the Bistrot B concept within the newly opened Rosewood Beijing. He also assisted with the development of concepts for Rosewood Hotel Group in Phnom Penh, Bangkok, and Guangzhou.
