威震天实际上是真人扮演，演员需要穿着一套机械“装甲”，并且通过机甲内部的遥控装置、带有变声功能的麦克风与外界互动。而威震天的走红，也吸引更多网友关注环球影城。

不过，现在的环球影城却是一票难求。9月14日0时，北京环球影城门票开售，由于需求众多导致其官方App和小程序无法正常使用，以及多个旅游平台出售的中秋期间环球影城主题公园门票和优速通迅速售罄。

Tickets for Universal Beijing Resort officially went on sale starting midnight on Sept 14, attracting lots of fans, which even led to a shutdown of the resort's official app for a time.
北京环球影城单日门票将采用四级票价结构，推出淡季日、平季日、旺季日和特定日门票，门票价格分别为人民币418元、528元、638元和748元。9月20日的门票为638元。
One-day dated tickets to the theme park follow a four-tier pricing structure —418 yuan, 528 yuan, 638 yuan and 748 yuan — based on the popularity of the dates.

据央视财经报道，能够减少环球影城各项游乐设施排队时间的“优速通”产品销售同样火热。9月20日至29日、10月1日至5日的“环球优速通”均售罄；9月20日至11月8日的“环球无限优速通”也显示售罄。甚至有消费者反映，熬夜买到的“优速通”票竟然被“强制退票”了。

除了20日单日的门票，北京环球度假区内的两个度假酒店——环球影城大酒店和诺金度假酒店，也在14日零点同步放开预订，开园后前几日的房源已全部售罄，最早可以预订到24日的房间。环球影城周边的一些民宿酒店、热门的酒店也已经是销售一空。

数据显示，在某网络旅游平台，超过10万人预约了环球影城门票开售提醒，9月13日门票开售前一天，北京环球度假区的搜索量相比前一日增长900%。
