THE Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop (Futian) was established Aug. 30 with the aim to accommodate a cluster of innovative teams and strengthen cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

Located in the Futian Free Trade Zone’s Changfu Center CFC Building near the border to Hong Kong, the workshop covers an area of more than 3,400 square meters. At present, 23 high-tech entrepreneurial teams have settled there, including firms in the fields of artificial intelligence, biomedical sciences, and Internet of Things. The Futian authority has integrated resources to provide office space, short-term accommodations, further education, and communication, taxation, and intellectual property services for youth innovation teams from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.(Doria Nan)
