A hairdresser in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province, who claims to have designed a "most suitable hairstyle" for balding men, has attracted follically-challenged customers to his salon from around the country.

The hairstylist, named Jun, explained that the key to his technique is shaving a man's thinning hair close on top, while the sides are shaved clean, making it appear there is a denser crop on top, according to a video posted Monday by Pear Video on Sina Weibo.

"I was looking for a hairstyle that can best cover up my customers' baldness," said Jun, who suggested that modern lifestyles, such as staying up late can causes baldness. Science, however, has determined that baldness is a hereditary condition in 95 percent of men.

The video shows Jun giving several men their new hairstyle, one of which shows a heart being carved into the little that is left on the top of a man's head.

"I choose the hairstyle for my customers based on their ages and occupations. I will be more aggressive if their jobs do not have many restrictions on them," Jun noted.

Netizens were less than impressed by the hairdos.

"There is nothing new about the hairstyle. It just makes the sides shorter," one netizen commented.

"The barber is just bragging, but it's good advertising," another wrote.
