Full coverage: The South China Sea Issue

The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague will announce its decision today on the arbitration case brought by the Philippines against China over the South China Sea territorial issue. China has dismissed the unilateral move and has been calling for dialogues instead between countries directly involved. 

"The illegal ruling of the so-called South China Sea Arbitral Tribunal is ... peace and stability is in the common interests of all countries in that region," said Liu Xin The Hague.
