听说青村老街最近启动修缮工程，得空特意去拍下这组照片，等修缮工程结束会再去看看有怎样的新面貌！【青村古镇】原名青溪。宋初有移民流徙居住，渐成村庄，溪水由东向西穿村而过，两岸芦苇茂密葱绿，故名青溪。元末明初，青溪逐渐发展，遂成滨海小镇，隶于陶宅巡检司。明嘉靖年间，陶宅因屡遭倭患，日趋衰落，青溪便成了商品集散之地。清雍正六年（公元1728年），知县舒慕芬引南桥塘水经益村坝通奉城城壕，并称其为青村港，青溪镇由此改称为青村港镇。清嘉庆年间，青村镇商业 繁荣，“舟楫往来如织，百货聚焉”，成为奉贤东乡首镇。民国始方在行政区划中称青村镇。青村大部分地区成陆于隋末唐初，距今有一千四百多年历史，另据嘉庆年间有文说，青村为出苏州东南首镇。
