INTERNSHIP PROPOSITION: MANURE MANAGEMENT IN SICHUAN.

Context

China is currently developing industrial livestockproduction. Sichuan is one the main hog production provinces with unsufficientcrops fields to have spreading as the only outlet for pig manure. Thissituation, emblematic of the whole country problematic regarding its livestockmanure, requires the set-up of solutions to recycle livestock farming wastesand protect the environment. The question that raises depletion ofnon-renewable resources makes solutions for reuse such as anaerobic digestionand organic fertilizers even more attractive.

I-tek is a French company specialized in pig farmconception. We also provide the whole range of services and technologies inmanure management.

In order to understand the local issues andspecificities of manure

management in Sichuan we wish to complete a prospectivestudy.

To help us achieve this goal we are recruiting anintern.

Internship overview

Managed by our environment specialist he will:

Study local regulation, authoritieswill, and other possible leverages to support manure management solutionsset-up.

Build an inventory of the mainindustrial pig farms, and their current situation regarding manure management.

Study the acceptance and adaptation needed for ourtechnologies regarding the local market.

Candidates Profile

We are seeking for 本科 students, who are proficient in English or French.

The candidate must have a scientific background, ideally with a major

inenvironmental management, water treatment engineering or agriculture.
