After researching on the web and celebrity influence ( Damn you Wendy Williams) I decided to purchase this mud mask. I purchased the larger size because the price was just to good to pass for the amount of the product. When I opened the product, the jar was heavy. The mud is a thick pea green color consistency . I applied the product with my fingers and it smoothly went on my face. The instructions state 5 mins however I left it on for 15 mins. When first applied the mask felt very cool on my skin. Then as it dried a slight tingle sensation but no burning or pulling feeling. When it was time to wash off the mask, it was easily washed away with warm water or you can use the sponge which comes with the product(pictured) . After, my face feels clean, smooth and soft. So happy I purchased this! I plan on using this once a week. So after a month I will do another review on the full affects of my sensitive skin but normally my skin breaks out immediately and this time it has not so things are definitely leaning on the positive 😊

I've only been using masks for the last couple years. I prefer mud masks. I usually use this before getting in the shower. It's just easier to wash it off. The first few times can feel a little uncomfortable if you're not use to using a mud mask. It'll make you're skin feel really cool at first and might tingle. But that subsides the more you keep using it on a regular basis. It does make a difference in the appearance of your skin. I'm not good about using cleansers, toners and all those beauty routines. I just wash my face with a mild soap and use this mask (try to anyways) twice a week. My skins not as oily and my pores are not as clogged. It's helped even out my skin tone around my cheeks and nose. I see a big difference. My skin just looks better. I use this on my neck and even my armpits. I always feel sweaty (live in the Midwest where the summers are hot and very humid). Sometimes I feel like my deodorant doesn't work too well. Since using this on my armpits I feel like it's made a difference. Your armpits have pores too and need to stay clean and deodorant has harsh chemicals in it. This jar is lasting me for quite some time. So I feel it is worth the money.

I have tried many masks all to help ease my acne prone and extremely oily skin. I have tried the Aztec Indian Healing Mask, and comparing it to this mask it's just okay. A little bit of this goes an extremely long way and will last forever. Initially, the feeling of the mask is nice and smooth and feels luxurious going onto the skin, whereas I found putting on the Aztec mask to be a hassle to put on, but that could just be me. It says to take it off when it is still wet and only to be left on for a total of 5 minutes, but I didn't really feel like that was long enough to get any significant benefits. I leave it on for a total 20-25 minutes and can see all of the gunk that it takes out of my pores. This leaves me a little bit read, but I believe its from the pulsating from the circulation of blood. I did notice a small purging the day afterwards, but nothing big just a feel small breakouts on my cheeks where I had most of my clogged pores. I noticed an instant shrinkage of my pores. But what is really significant about this mask is the way I feel after it. Since I have tried many masks, I have never found one that has made me feel cleaner. I didn't know what I was missing with the clean feeling, but comparing how my skin feels now to how it felt last week, there is a drastic difference. I am not the only one who can vouch for this, as I had my brother try this mask on and the first thing he said after he took it off was how clean his face felt and how he never felt anything like it. This will last you a LONG time, I've used it about 5 times and barely even scratched the surface. Completely recommend this, it's the best mask I have ever tried.

I've used this product for over twenty five years and it helps to keep my skin clear and glowing. I love this product. I use it once every five or six weeks. I have naturally good skin but this definitely makes my skin glow a couple days after using it. The flow only lasts a few days but it's great while it lasts. I suppose I could use it more often but don't want to dry my skin. Aside from the glowing affect it keeps my skin totally free of blackheads. Read the directions carefully and follow them exactly. DO NOT put this on your lips as it will irritate them if left on them for more than a minute or so. It says so in the directions. Don't skimp with the product. I think it says to put a quarter inch of mud on your face and let it dry thoroughly. This is critical. Don't skimp on the mud or amount of time. It should be thoroughly dry before you remove it. Removes wrinkles and tightens the skin. It's an amazing product. I use it on my neck and under my chin and it really tightens things up. Buy it! You'll love it!

I had been looking for a new facial mud mask & since this one had so many positive reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. SOOOO glad I did!!! This mud is AWESOME!!! 17.6 oz. is A LOT of mud for the price--it's going to last me a VERY long time! I love the smell--very light & fresh. It spreads very easily & smoothly over my skin. I've been using it once a week for about 3 weeks now. I clean my face really well, then slather this all over face, neck, & upper chest. I let it set for at least half an hour (usually longer). Then I jump in the shower & wash it all off. You can actually feel it working! Unlike any other mud mask I've tried, this one really pulls out the impurities. The blackheads on my nose are GONE! I cannot believe how much it tightens, softens, & smooths my skin. I've not experienced any sort of discomfort while using this mud & my skin is somewhat sensitive. I highly recommend adding this mud to your weekly facial routine.

This had been on my must buy list for a few months before I purchased it. I have to say the best thing about this mask is the sponge that comes along with it. It makes things so much easier.

The mask itself is OK at best. I've used it about 6 times at this point and to be honest I genuinely don't see any type of effect from it. It gets very tight when you have it on and undoubtedly your face feels better once it's off and that tight feeling is gone. I don't think it has a severe or noticeable impact on the skin. I think someone else had mentioned this but I didn't believe them at the time - this is very similar to helene's mint mask, which you can get for much much less. I have both and they are the SAME THING. If you want to splurge for fun go for it, but don't expect results or any drastic changes.

This mask is great. My sister gave me some to try during the holidays and I liked it so much that I purchased my own jar. I find that the sponge is very rough on my skin, though, and I prefer to use a cloth instead. My only complaint (and why I'm not giving this product 5 stars) is that when I went to open it up, the protective plastic seal had been broken making it a bit messy.
